Glossybox Customer Service

Hi Guys,

As you may of seen in my last Glossybox post, Ive been subscribed to them for three years! Ive never really had any bad experiences with them until about five months ago. Now this post isn't to have a rant about how disappointed I am in Glossybox, its the complete opposite! 

Ive never really mentioned my few bad experiences with Glossybox as they've never been nothing major, but once the little issues started to build up I'd gotten a little fed up. Of course I've had the odd box over the three years that I haven't particularly liked too much but thats just down to personal preference and you can't like them all, it didn't mean I was annoyed with them.
However I started to have issues with things like, I'd changed my address when I moved and my boxes were still getting sent to my old address six hours away! I would sign up to alerts and not receive them and have a product missing from my box. Again nothing major, but once they add up they get a bit annoying. I started to consider unsubscribing but I really wasn't sure. 

So my mum got in contact with Glossybox and explained the situation, We were passed onto the lovely Sam, who was more than fantastic in helping resolve the issues and was very apologetic about what had happened. The only thing I was really looking into getting resolved was the address issue. You can't really help the alerts and products being missing, although I was very disappointed about them, but whats done was done, which is a shame but oh well.

Sam however resolved the address issue straight away and Ive had an email to say my Glossybox is on its way to my new address! Woohoo! But what I wasn't expecting was for Sam to send me a gift to say sorry for all the inconvenience caused, which was amazing lovely and so much more than I ever expected. 

I just wanted to write this post to say Thank you to Sam for the lovely generous gift and for all the help he's given us in resolving the issues I had. I will continue with my Glossybox subscription and supporting them and its really nice to know how well they'll handle any issues and actually listen to concerns. Hopefully there won't be anymore issues but its great to know that they'll be resolved.

  1. Now that's good customer service for you...going that extra mile....I've heard niggles like this from other people and it has put me off joining Glossing Box.

    1. Its sad that I was first put off contacting them after I'd heard a lot of negative things about Glossybox and their customer service over the years. It was lovely to have such a positive experience with them and was proved wrong, like you said they went the extra mile. I know a lot of people are put off them too, its a shame. I was going to unsubscribe after I'd heard quite a few negative things, Im glad I didn't.
